Baggies Beach, also known as Warner Beach, is a well-known surf spot on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Quiet, peaceful, and beautiful, it is also dog-friendly! Baggies Beach or Warner Beach is described as a quiet and peaceful beach that is safe, clean, and a lovely place to spend the day. Very popular with surfers, this beach is not really a swimming beach, but does have an array of natural rock pools and is great for fishing too. There is also a tidal pool for you to enjoy but be aware that there aren’t any lifeguards so always be careful. Although not officially designated as a dog-friendly beach, there don’t seem to be any issues with taking your furry friend along for a seaside stroll. Just to be safe, it is best to keep your pup on a lead in case you come across other dogs or people who are afraid of dogs. And, as always, bring along your biodegradable doggy bags for any waste or litter.
