Most importantly, it is dog-friendly – the perfect place to bring your pup for a leg-stretching run. Regarded as one of the most unspoiled beaches along the Cape Coast, Noordhoek is a great place to visit if you enjoy seclusion and a little bit of privacy. This beach has been described as dramatic, immensely beautiful, and expansive. If you plan to bring your pup along for a walk, keep in mind that there aren’t many shops or infrastructure close to Noordhoek Beach so bring everything you need. Remember, you can take the 8 km walking trail from Noordhoek Beach to Kommetjie which is most definitely dog-friendly. In fact, dogs are welcome! This trail takes an average of two hours to walk. Keep your pup on a lead unless otherwise allowed, as the trail is also popular with horse-riders and hikers.
