Scarborough Beach

Scarborough Beach can be found nestled within the coastal village of Scarborough on the west coast of South Africa. Bordering Table Mountain National Park, this popular but quiet beach is dog-friendly so bring your pup along for a seaside stroll. Scarborough is a tiny seaside town located just outside the Cape Point Nature Reserve in the Western Cape. It has some of the best beaches in the country – imagine kilometres of soft white sand, and brilliant blue ocean. The amazing surrounding scenery makes for a lovely walk along the beach and what’s best is that it doesn’t get too crowded so you and your pup can comfortably enjoy a long walk. You may come across kite-surfers, surfers, and anglers but the beach is quite windy so it is not a great place for a suntan or picnic. Enjoy incredible sunsets and soft powdery sands as you and your furry bestie spend some quality time at this hidden gem.
