A Note on Pet-Friendly Airbnb Accommodation

There are hundreds of Airbnb rentals that are happy to welcome your furry friend for a holiday. Instead of listing each and every one of them, we have compiled a set of instructions on how to search for pet-friendly accommodation on Airbnb.

1. Fill in the name of the place or area where you want to stay, or use the search bar to search and select your destination.

2. Fill in your arrival and departure dates on the calendar i.e. check-in & check-out dates.

3. Select how many guests are staying. Here you will find an option to fill in how many pets you will be bringing with you.

4. Click on ‘Search’ to bring up the results of places that allow pets

You can double-check if pets are allowed by selecting a destination or accommodation and clicking on the ‘Amenities’ tab. You should see the ‘Services: Pets allowed’ if, in fact, the place is pet-friendly.

Many places will also indicate under the ‘What this place offers’ heading that pets are allowed. If you are uncertain, it is always best to message the host to double-check, especially if you have large-breed dogs or several dogs that you want to bring along.
