We are Samanta and Quintin and we are from beautiful and sunny South Africa. We are lucky to share our lives with three doggy companions.
We love travelling, but we love our dogs too! One day, a few years back, we decided to treat our dogs and ourselves to a lovely long-weekend away. We wanted a self-catering place, not too far from home, that would welcome our rambunctious bunch - at that time - of six rescue dogs (of all shapes and sizes). At first, it was tough to find somewhere suitable, mostly because we didn't know where to look. We spent hours on various social media sites and search platforms trying to find the place for us. Finally, we found it, but it took us ages. It was then that we decided to develop an online directory where we could access everything we needed for our dogs. Be it a local, dog-friendly coffee shop, emergency vet services, organic doggy treats, or our nearest pet salon, we wanted to be able to go to one place to find it. So, we developed Place for Paws.
